If you're seeing a specialist or going to hospital, we recommend choosing a provider who is in our First Choice network so that we can cover 100% of your eligible costs*. However, if they’re not in our First Choice network, you may need to make a gap payment. This payment is the difference between what your healthcare provider charges for a treatment and what we have set as its efficient market price.
