There are two ways to pay your premiums; by credit card or by direct debit. You need to make payments in advance and can find out more about how to update your payment details online.
Direct debit payments
You can pay by direct debit from a bank, building society or credit union and you can choose to pay weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly or yearly.
If you’re the policyowner (the person named on the Acceptance certificate), you can change the direct debit arrangements in line with the terms and conditions of our direct debit authority form (68.22kb), opens in a new tab.
Simply tell us in writing what you want to change at least 10 days before your next payment date. It’s your responsibility to tell us if the account details change, or if the account is transferred or closed.
Credit card payments
You can pay with a Visa or Mastercard, and you can choose to pay monthly, quarterly, half yearly or yearly.
You can change your credit card details by logging in to my nib, opens in a new tab. It’s your responsibility to let us know if any card details change, such as a new expiry date.
